It has taken nearly eight months to return to this "conversation." Hum.... Now that the snow has (nearly--we had snow showers last evening) ceased and my spouse has begun to spend time on the phone with friends rather than obsessively moving between the Weather Channel, NOAA, and several local online weather services, craziness has slowed from other family related stuff, and I recalled how to break into this blog (well, breaking in is what it seemed to take), I may have a few minutes to devote to this endeavour.
That said, I may not be able to attend events in 2009 in a manner, or at all, as was planned at the end of 08. Work commitments and the ever tugging economic situation have dampened my enthusiasm and free time. But . . . all is not forgotten.
